• Antique Pump Organ

  • $200
Very nice Burdett Pump Organ manufactured in the 1800s by Hobart M. Cable Company in Chicago, Illinois. The R Burdett & Company built organs in Chicago until the "Great Chicago Fire" of 1871 which destroyed the factory. The company reestablished itself in Erie Pennsylvania under the name Burdett Organ Co, which closed in 1885. Since this organ was manufactured in Chicago it must've been built in 1871 or earlier. It serves as a nice piece of furniture and can serve as a great conversation piece. It can also be a great workout as you pump the pedals to play the organ. The piano bench was purchased separately and has a hinged lid for storage. Organ may need tuning. Cash only, 474-1876
