• Summer Cooking Camp in The Kitchen at Second Harvest

The Kitchen at Second Harvest, June 26-29, 2-4 p.m., for ages 8-12. Sessions include: Day 1: Take a dip! Take a ride on the blender bike and make your own hummus dip. Try some delectable fruit in homemade yogurt, and make fun freezer taquito snacks. Day 2: Cruise the Mediterranean! Snack on some chicken pita pockets with homemade tzatziki sauce. Enjoy some Greek cuisine with a healthful quinoa salad. Day 3: Vacation in Italy! Vacation on the coast of Italy for dinner. Make your own turkey meatballs and homemade pasta sauce. Day 4: Lounge on a 'Dessert' Island! Cool down with some chocolate banana frozen yogurt! Top is off with a delicious lentil cookie!,
