Nancy Ann

Passed peacefully to God, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, July 28th, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Nancy was born in the Spokane Valley to Jim and Dorothy Aucutt on January 29th, 1935, one of three chil-
dren. Nancy attended
West Valley High School, from which she graduated in 1952. She was very involved in school activities and leadership, especially with ASB. She also was a Cheerleader and an avid ballet dancer. She loved to load up her Model A with her friends after football games and go cruising to the Tower Drive-in. After graduation she attended Holy Names College. At that time, Nancy met and later married the love of her life, Larry Mullenix. Together they raised four children andsuccessfully built up the Inland MeatsCompany of Spokane. Nancy was very involved in her community and her children's lives. She modeled for charity events, and she was President of the Women's Club at Painted Hills Golf Course. She was a leader in PTA, Campfire Girls and Cub Scouts. She was also very involved in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, as a Eucharistic minister, and took communion to Alzheimer's patients at Colonial Court Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Dorothea Aucutt, and her brother Martin. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Larry; her brother Jim (Sally); her daughter Michelle Lippert (Pat); sons: Mike, Dan (Cindy), and Chuck (Elaine). Nancy adored her grandchildren, who are Rachel, Adrienne,Michael, Megan, Troy, Marc, Adam, James, Jacob and Taylor. Her great-grandchildren include Allison, Mallory and Emma. The family wishes toexpress their profound gratitude to her caregiver Marilyn Grammer, who lovingly cared for her for nine years; and to Spokane Hospice, for theirexpert and compassionate service to Nancy and her family. In lieu offlowers, contributions can be given to Hospice of Spokane at 121 S. Arthur St., Spokane, 99202. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. onWednesday, August 4 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 S. Walnut Rd., Spokane Valley.
