JOHNSON, Kent P.

Kent passed away suddenly at home on March 8. He was born November 9, 1913 in Davenport, WA to Kirke and Etta. He was a 1931 graduate of Lewis and Clark and went on to attend classes at Gonzaga University. He issurvived by his loving wife of 71 years, Mamie (Skok); son Stephen ofSeattle; and daughter Etta Jean of Spokane. He was preceded in death by his daughter Joan. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Fred, Bert and Marco and sister Matie. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He worked on the Grand Coulee Dam project then went on to enjoy a long career with the Washington Water Power Company (now Avista). He was an avid low handicap golfer and continued playing until age 92. He enjoyed spending time with his wife's 14 brothers and sisters and their families.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 13 at 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 34th and Perry. In lieu of sending flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1517 E. 33rd Ave, Spokane WA 99203.
