BAGLEY, Richard
Richard Donald Bagley, 55, of Woodland passed away March 5, 2010, at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Joseph "Donald" and Vola (Dalling) Bagley. He graduated from Skyline High School in Idaho Falls in 1972. Richard lived in Spokane for 20 years before moving to Woodland 13 years ago. Richard was a millwright with Owens-Illinois Glass Plant in Portland. He was a member of the O-I Rod & Gun Club, formerly serving as vice president and president. He enjoyed 'hanging' with his wife, Nikki, walking the beach and collecting treasures, trips into the woods, traveling and attending classic rock concerts. Richard was a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed fishing, sharing his passion for the Columbia River and guiding friends through the river experience. Richard was focused, knowledgeable and gifted. He was also happy, energetic, generous and high-spirited. Richard left an impression. He found the best in people and was always willing to help his neighbors. On October 15, 2001, Richard married Nikki F. Dahm at Seaquest Park. She survives him at home. Also surviving are a son, Richard Hurley and his significant other, Amy, in China, and many loving cousins, uncles and aunts. A celebration of Richard's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard Funeral Home officiated by Bruce Rose. A graveside service will follow. Viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
