- A very longtime resident of Loon Lake, Washington, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2010. He is the dear husband of Eleanor J. Dyck (married 68 years) and the loving father of Pamela K. Davis of VashonIsland, Washington; Ronald L. Dyck of Loon Lake, Washington, and Richard "Rick" Dyck of Parkersburg, West Virginia. His
- brother, Donald "Butch" Dyck, resides in Bellingham, Washington. LeRoyenjoyed five grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Born at Wolf Point, Roosevelt County, Montana, in 1920, he has been a resident of this area since 1935. LeRoy was a very active member of the Loon LakeAssemblies of God Church, was a longtime board member of the FruitlandBible Camp. He had worked at the Deer Park School District, was a millforeman at Plum Creek Lumber in Addy, WA, was in quality control and sales department at Deer Park Pine Industries, was a bus driver for the Loon Lake School District, and an assistant at the Lauer Funeral Home for many years. Funeral services honoring Mr. Dyck will be at 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Loon Lake Elementary School with Pastor Jim Ross and Pastor Jim Terry officiating. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Deer Park at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, March 13, 2010.
