Our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Spokane, Washington on March 5, 2010. She was born December 3, 1928 in Hettinger, North Dakota to

Helmer Melvin (Sam) Sampson and Angeline Winnefred (Dode) Sampson. Maryann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Colon who passed away February 15, 2005. They were married 55 years. She is survived by her children, Karen and her husband, Ed Smallwood, Patrick Colon and his wife, Laurel, Tom Colon, Susie Colon, Kathleen Robles and Michael Colon; grandchildren, Tracy, Erin and her husband, John, Matthew, Morgann and her husband, Fernando, Marianne, Kasey and Makenzie; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Blake, Brock, Avery, Caezar, Adrian and Gabriel. Her spirit is a blessing to those who knew her. She was loved deeply and will be missed.
