Passed away in the service of our nation October 25, 2009 in Afghanistan. He is survived by his son, John Patrick Lyons; parents, John and Nuala Lyons; two brothers, Sean Lyons and Kevin Lyons and sister, Bernadette

Buck all of Spokane. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 8, 2009, 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home, followed by a vigil service 6:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be held Monday, November 9, 2009 at St. Anthony Catholic Church 2320 N. Cedar St.,Spokane WA. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
