Nancy Jane

(Age 71)

Nancy J. Frechette was born on May 7, 1938, in Danvers, MA, to Ellsworth and Olga Smith. She married Leon B. Frechette on September 5, 1953, and together they raised six children. Leon

preceded her in death in 2006. Nancy is survived by Leon A. and Kimberly Frechette, Mike Frechette,

Greg and Maureen Frechette, Robert J. and Denise Frechette, Tonya

and Steve Chetsas, and Shane and Gina Frechette, along with numerous grandchildren.

Mom was still a child when she started raising kids, so you could say that her life started on the fast track and continued until her pain-riddled body left this earth on September 17, 2009, releasing her soul to God.

Mom left her mark on this earth with her vegetable, flower, and rock garden for her only daughter Tonya to admire and tend in Weaver, NC, and it's a masterpiece! Mom was happiest when she was creating something, either inside her home or out in her yard. She especially loved the outdoors and in the yard of every home she lived in over the years she created wonderful gardens complete with flowers, walkways, tiered rock walls, and fire pits. It seemed unbelievable that one person could create such masterpieces unless you knew her and knew that this activity was what made her happiest. God was there every step of the way guiding her in creating these havens for both nature and others to enjoy. She understood what God put in front of her to work with, and she used everything that God created to preserve life naturally.

She will be remembered for making us all independent and unafraid to tackle any project. Thanks, Mom; you will be missed but we'll cherish our memories. And all that knew and loved her will miss her!
